Registration

Participating in the Lexus Corporate Run is easy! All you need to do is assign a team captain to create a team and sign up a minimum of four full-time employees!

In order to create a team, visit the Team Captain Central page. After reviewing the information, select the Create a Team Link for the city you wish to participate in and follow the steps provided. Once completed, you will have access to your Captain’s Dashboard where you can send your team’s registration link to your coworkers to sign up. Don’t forget that you need to register yourself if you plan on participating!
Team Captains are the main point of contact for the company’s participants and receive all race communication from the Lexus Corporate Run.

Team Captains are also responsible for the following:
1. Form a team, recruit runners, and oversee team member registration.
2. Plan and coordinate tent rental and on-site tent hospitality.
3. Submit your company’s t-shirt for judging in T-shirt Contest.
4. Secure and distribute race day materials and communications.
5. Submit team scores for Industry Competition.
Yes. Companies can participate in more than one city as long as you have at least four full-time employees in each city. Captains will have to create a team for each city.

To easily manage your teams across multiple cities under one account, use the same email address when creating your organization.
The cost is equal to the number of participants from your company times the per person entry fee posted on the website. There is no separate team entry fee.
No. We do not accept race day registration. All participants must be registered by each city’s deadline.
Guests are allowed to participate if your company chooses. Team Captains can set up payment options for the company to pay for guests or for guests to pay for themselves. Guests are not eligible to win the overall race or submit times for awards.
When creating your team, select 'Yes' when prompted "Will your organization pay for registrations?"

If you have already created your team, you can edit your settings in the Captain's Dashboard under the 'Financials' tab.

1. If your organization covers ALL registrations: you can select between the total amount or up to a portion of their registration fee. If your organization allows guests to register, you can choose between including them in the payment option or not.

2. If your organization covers ONLY a specific number of registrations: you can select between the full amount or a portion of their registration fee. If your organization allows guests to register, you can choose between including them in the payment option or not.

3. If your team will cover different amounts depending on how many members register: Please contact us at thecorporaterun@teamfootworks.org or call 305-666-7223 so that we can help you set up your payment options.

You must pay for your team by the payment deadline via the Captain’s Dashboard.
When creating your team, select 'No' when prompted "Will your organization pay for registrations?"

If you have already created your team, you can edit your settings in the Captain’s Dashboard under the 'Financials' tab.
Invoices can be separated by items but not dollar amounts. Each invoice can only take one form of payment.

Example: We can create separate invoices for registration fees and products (i.e., tents) or we can separate a number of registrations on each invoice. Each of those invoices can be paid with a different payment method. We cannot separate a $500 invoice into two $250 invoices.
Invoices can be found in the Captain’s Dashboard, under the 'Financials' section. Select the 'Invoices' tab on the top of the page.
Team Packets include your participants’ commemorative Lexus Corporate Run T-Shirts, Runner/Walker Bibs, Seeded Wristbands, Beer Wristbands (for participants 21+), & Additional Race Day Information.
Seeded Wristbands allow your fastest runner to start towards the front of the race along with CEO’s. The number of seeded wristbands you receive depend on your overall team size.
All companies must have their team's registration completed and paid for by the registration deadline in order to have their Team Packets created. Individual packet pickup is not available.

Companies can choose to pick up their packet at TeamFootWorks or have their Team Packet shipped for a nominal fee. More information can be found on the Team Captain Central page.

Awards / Competition

Companies compete by creating teams of four employees and combining their times. Plaques are awarded for the overall fastest male, female, and co-ed teams as well as plaques for the fastest male, female, and co-ed team in each of the 18 industry categories. Team Captains choose their company’s industry when they create their company team.
The Industry Competition is open to employers who can field teams with a minimum of either 4 full-time male employees, 4 full-time female employees, or a co-ed team of 2 full-time male and 2 full-time female employees.

Team scores are submitted by the Team Captain after the race on the Captain's Dashboard. Team Captains can submit multiple entries. However, each participant can only be placed on ONE team (For example, a female participant may NOT be scored for both a female and co-ed team). Guests and part-time employees are not eligible to be scored.
Results are calculated by adding the finish times of the 4 members placed on a team for a total cumulative finish time. The team with the fastest cumulative finish time is determined the winner.

Awards will be given to the fastest overall male, female, and co-ed teams in each city. Awards are also given to the fastest male, female, and co-ed teams in each industry category.

The overall male, female, and co-ed winners are not eligible to also win in their industry competition. However, multiple teams of 4 can be submitted by a Team Captain.
The option to submit your team scores will appear in the Captain's Dashboard the morning after the race. Team scores must be submitted by 5:00pm the Tuesday after the race.
Industry results will usually be posted Friday of the following week from Race Day.
If you feel there is a discrepancy in the results, please contact us at thecorporaterun@teamfootworks.org or call 305-666-7223.
Yes! Teams that want to participate in any of the three categories in our T-Shirt contest must submit a physical t-shirt to our Creative Department before your city’s deadline. More Information can be found on the T-Shirt Contest page.
